Update Date:2026-04-14 14:09:55
Awesun intelligent remote control equipment series can not only realize remote control without network, but also support remote startup. We are not only not affected by the network environment of the accused end, but also break the barriers to boot, allowing you to enjoy a truly seamless and free remote experience. No matter whether there is a network or not, whether it is turned on or not, your computer is on standby at any time.
Currently, USB remote wake-up and WOL network wake-up are supported. They are compatible with different types of devices and scenarios.
Currently available for: Q1
1. Computer BIOS Settings
1.1 computer turns on USB and WOL to wake up
Turn on relevant functions in the BIOS of the computer equipment that needs to be turned on. Different types of motherboards enter the BIOS in different ways. For details, please refer to the computer prompt or consult the motherboard manufacturer.
Here's an example of a Dell motherboard:
(1) Enter BIOS
Press the power of the device, and press and hold the F2 or Delete key continuously before entering the system to enter the BIOS interface
(2) Turn on USB wake-up function
Enter [Windows Boot Manager]-> select "Power Management", check the "USB Wake Support" option to open, and save to exit.
(3) Turn on WOL wake-up function
Enter [Windows Boot Manager]-> select "Power Management", check the "LAN Only" option in "Wake on LAN" to open, and save to exit.
Note: Either of the two methods can be selected, and it is recommended to turn on both methods.
1.2 configuration power management (only required for WOL wakeup)
Skip this step if using USB wake-up only
Operation path: [Settings]-> [Device Manager]-> [Network Adapter]]
Even if the BIOS settings are correct, Windows power management may turn off the wake-up function of the network card.
① Right-click the network card and select Properties
② Turn on the network wake-up function in [Advanced Options]
③ If there are energy saving and environmental protection options, remember to close
2. Add MAC address on APP (only required for WOL wake-up)
Skip this step if using USB wake-up only
Operation path: Control terminal App-> [Equipment] list-> [Intelligent remote control equipment]-> [Settings]]
① Open the control terminal App, enter the [Equipment] list, and select your intelligent remote control equipment.
② When the device is online, click [Settings]-> [Boot Address Configuration]].
③ Enter the MAC address of the computer under the same LAN as the hardware device, and click Save.
Description: APP needs to be updated to the latest version and firmware needs to be upgraded (some models are still being updated, please look forward to it)
3. Awesun remote boot
① Enter the App-> [Device] list on the control terminal, find the intelligent remote control device, and initiate remote control.
② After initiating remote control, when no screen display is found, you can click the [Start Now] button.
③ Wait a moment, the computer will start automatically
USB Wake-up Note:
① Only supports wired keyboard/mouse wake-up, Bluetooth/wireless keyboard and mouse cannot wake up the device
② USB wake-up remote power-on requires the motherboard to maintain standby power supply after shutdown, and the keyboard/mouse must be connected to the correct interface; you can check whether the cable status of the intelligent remote control device is normal in the shutdown state, which is the most direct verification method.
③ Forced shutdown operation (such as directly cutting off the power supply, long pressing the power button to force the device to shut down, etc.) will cause the device to fail to realize the remote startup function
This is because during forced shutdown, the device does not follow the normal shutdown process, and the system fails to complete the necessary state saving and initialization preparations, thus destroying the environment required for remote startup.
WOL Wake-up Note:
① If you cannot wake up, please confirm that the MAC address is filled in correctly and the computer and the intelligent remote control device are in the same LAN.
