1. Overview
AweSun Remote Control software can be connected to the Internet in any place, you can easily access and control Android devices via file transfer, remote desktop, remote monitoring, and remote management.
The AweSun Host for Android runs on Android Smart Device and supports cross-platform remote control of Android devices by Windows, Android, and iOS systems. Through the AweSun Host to realize the control of Android devices, you can achieve real-time remote replacement of advertising large-screen media files, remote management of regional vending machines, cash registers and other Android terminals, which effectively improve management and operation and maintenance efficiency, and save labor costs.
Android version requirements: Android 5.0 and above.
2. Function introduction
2.1 Login
2.1.1 Registration
If you have not registered an account, click "Register Account" below, and the registration method is only email registration for the time being.
After agreeing to Aweray the user license agreement and privacy policy, enter the required information according to the interface requirements, register the account and log in.
2.1.2 Login
2.1.2.1 Login Method
After installation, open the AweSun Android client and log in using any of the following methods:
① Apple account login
② Google account login
③ Mailbox login
2.2 Detailed explanation of interface
2.2.1 Main interface
① Help: available AweSun Remote Control software frequently asked questions.
② Account information: display the current login account's email address.
③ Device ID: The other party can enter the Device ID for remote viewing (Remote control is only supported via Device List).
④ Verification code: Support viewing and modification. The other party can type the Device ID and verification code to view your device remotely without confirmation.
⑤ Remote control mode: set any one of the following modes to remotely control the Android deivce.
a.Enable Auxiliary services to achieve remote control without obtaining root permission;
b.Obtain administrator rights and root rights to authorize AweSun Host remote control funtions.
2.2.2 Settings
Click the "Settings" button in the upper right corner to enter the settings page.
2.2.2.1 Remote control mode
There are two ways to realize remote control of Android phones, namely: auxiliary services, obtaining administrator rights, and Samsung remote control rights (only supported by some Samsung phones).
Set any of the following methods to remote control the machine:
① Auxiliary services, which can be remote without root permission after opening (Android 7.0 and above systems are required and supported);
② Obtain administrator rights, obtain mobile phone root rights and authorize the AweSun Host remote control function.
Note:
· uxiliary remote control of mobile phones is only supported on Android 7.0 and above.
· The mobile phone needs to be unlocked during remote control.
· You need to manually re-enable the auxiliary service after exiting AweSun Host or restarting the mobile phone.
· If the auxiliary service is enabled during a remote control session, it will take effect only in the next remote control initiation.
2.2.2.2 Auxiliary remote control
2.2.2.2.1 Self-starting
In order to remotely connect to Android devices at any time, it is recommended to turn on the self-starting switch in the AweSun Host. You also need to check settings such as auto-start and power-saving management in the system settings.
2.2.2.2.2 Non-wifi provincial traffic mode
After enabling the data-saving mode, AweSun Host will run in data-saving mode in non-WiFi network environments.
2.2.2.2.3 Application Process Protection Settings
① Do not turn on [Power-saving Mode]: Enabling power-saving mode will prevent AweSun Host from going offline during unattended sessions due to low mobile phone battery.
② Battery Optimization Whitelist: To prevent AweSun Host from being terminated during power-saving processes, it is recommended to add it to the whitelist.
③ Background Permission Settings: To prevent AweSun Host from being terminated during power-saving processes, it is recommended to enable background permissions.
④ Background Pop-up Interface and Lock Screen Display: When enabled, AweSun Host running in the background or with the device locked will receive push notifications of remote control requests initiated by the controller.
⑤ Anti-sleep Mode Settings: To prevent disconnection when the screen is locked, enabling anti-sleep mode will keep the mobile phone awake while AweSun Host is in use in the foreground. Note that this will increase power consumption, so please enable it with caution.
2.2.2.2.4 Ancillary Services
During remote control, the mobile phone needs to remain unlocked. After exiting the AweSun Android client or restarting the mobile phone, the auxiliary service needs to be manually restarted.
① Assist in obtaining screenshot permission: after opening, when receiving a remote connection, the system will automatically obtain screenshot permission without manual operation.
② Auxiliary remote control mobile phone: After opening, you can remotely control this device without obtaining root permissions, and you need the support of the device system itself
Note: The above two functions need to be supported by the mobile phone system itself, and the Android system needs 7.0 and above.
2.2.2.3 Safety
2.2.2.3.1 Sensitive Application Protection
During remote control, you can set a higher level of protection for critical applications such as payment and social media apps.
When sensitive applications are detected being launched or switched to the foreground during a remote session, the system will automatically and immediately terminate the remote connection or pop up a prominent alert on the local device according to the settings. This actively blocks any potential privacy peeking and achieves real-time in-depth protection.
2.2.2.3.2 Set Access Password
Set or reset the access password of the Android client.
2.2.2.3.3 Always ask for acception for remote control.
After enabling this feature, when the controller initiates a remote control session via the Device ID and enters the verification code, the controlled device still needs to manually approve the remote control request.
2.2.2.3.4 Verification Code Refresh
You can set the refresh frequency of the verification code.
2.2.2.4 Advanced Settings
2.2.2.4.1 Image Quality Settings
Speed Priority, Balance Priority, Quality Priority
① Speed Priority: The response speed of the remote control interaction screen is fast, but the resolution of the remote control screen is relatively low.
② Balance Priority: The remote control interaction screen will be automatically adjusted according to the network environment and device hardware.
③ Quality Priority: The remote control interaction screen has high clarity, but it requires a better network environment.
2.2.2.4.2 Device Screen Settings
If the Android device fails to be controlled normally due to resolution issues, or if mouse pointer misalignment occurs; or if the Android device is a non-standard mobile phone (such as an advertising machine, vending machine, or other Android-based devices).
For these devices, you can customize the screen width and height, force the use of custom width and height, set the rotation angle, and force the application of the default input rules at the system level.
2.2.2.4.3 Open Air Window Permission
After opening, the AweSun Remote Control will display the operation interface in the form of floating window in real time during the execution of the automation task, which is convenient to view the process at any time.
2.2.2.4.4 Special camera adaptation
This function is a dedicated compatibility switch designed to fix display anomalies such as black screen or green edges that occur when remotely connecting to professional cameras. It does not need to be enabled if the screen display is normal.
2.2.2.4.5 Skin Mode
After enabling this feature, the AweSun Host app will automatically switch between light and dark modes following the system settings.
2.2.2.5 Privacy
2.2.2.5.1 System privilege management
View the current permissions of the AweSun Host app, such as camera, notification, and Bluetooth permissions. Tapping on a permission will redirect you to the device's system settings interface.
2.2.2.5.2 Personal Information Collection List
To provide the basic and additional functions of AweSun Host, it is necessary to collect personal information and device information generated when users actively authorize or provide such data during service usage.
2.2.3 My
(1) Basic Account Information: View the benefits of the current service tier and upgrade to a higher service tier.
(2) Modify Device Name.
(3) View Device Logs: Used by backend engineers for troubleshooting.
(4) Feedback: If you encounter any issues while using AweSun Host, you can submit feedback with details and contact information.
(5) About AweSun Host: App Store rating, user license agreement, privacy policy, redirection to the official AweSun website, and check for the latest version.
(6) Log Out: Sign out of the current account.
2.3 function demonstration
The Android version of AweSun Host supports remote viewing, remote control, remote file access, and remote camera access:
(1) Remote Viewing: No account login is required. You can remotely view the Android device by entering the identification code on the controller.
(2) Remote Control: After configuring the remote control method on AweSun Host, the controller can remotely control the Android device via the Device List.
(3) Remote Camera Access: Select the corresponding AweSun Host from the Device List on the controller and tap [Camera] to access the device’s camera remotely. The controller supports functions such as screenshot capture, video recording, front/back camera switching, horizontal/vertical screen adjustment, and image mirroring for the host’s camera.
(4) Remote File Access: Select the corresponding AweSun Host from the Device List on the controller and tap [Remote Files] to upload/download files to and from the host. You can also specify the file transfer path.
